Our not so new program (you can find it here) has finally a name!
Below you can see our director’s note per this:
“For years we have been using in our School with great success my method entitled
I’M LEARNING TO READ AND WRITE GREEK WITH WORDS I ALREADY KNOW.
With it we teach our foreign students to read and write Greek in a simple and natural way. It only takes a few hours.
Last week I baptized the method and gave it the name TACHYMATHEIA believing that this was a completely new word of my own.
But searching on the internet I discovered that I was second.
N. Kontopoulos in 1871 had given the same name to his book, published in Smyrna, entitled
TACHYMATHEIA A METHOD TO LEARN FRENCH QUICKLY
K. Karkanias”
