Modern Greek for Specific Purposes (LEVEL B1)
We teach Greek for:
- Business
- Technology
- Tourism
These programs are based on our educational material, which has been developed by multinational teams with funding by the European Union.
These programs last 80 hours, with 4 hours per day for 4 weeks. Students may be accepted if they have completed level A2.
Students may be accepted for only 2 weeks in order to cover 50% of the course

PRICES
Any half course (compact): 2 weeks, 20 hours
per week: 850€
Any full course (extended): 4 weeks, 20 hours per
week: 1530€
Notes
- All the above prices include the educational material and all out of the classroom activities
- A 10% advance payment should be made not later than 2 weeks of the booking. The rest should be paid no later than the week before the lessons start.
- In case there is only one student in a group the prices remain the same but the hours are reduced by 50%
- Our academic hour is 50’
- Course registration is made at the central school ([email protected]). Residents in Greece may also register directly at the regional schools.
ACCOMMODATION
As per separate fact sheet. It should be noted that at least 50% of the relative cost should be sent immediately after the booking.
PAYMENT POLICY
This policy applies for all of our lessons and for all of our schools (Athens, Chania & Thessaloniki). If a student wants to book an accommodation or a transportation facility, they should see our policy in the separate section.
- 10% course payment -> 4 days after receiving the booking confirmation:
- 90% course payment -> 10 days before the student’s arrival
COURSE CANCELATION POLICY
This policy applies for all of our lessons and for all of our schools (Athens, Chania & Thessaloniki). If a student wants to book an accommodation or a transportation facility, they should see our policy in the separate section.
If a student wants to cancel a course, one must do so in writing. One may cancel on the following conditions, with a notice before the course begins:
- 10% course payment -> non refundable
- 90% course payment -> refundable for a cancellation at least 10 days before the starting date
- The student can also postpone & reschedule the lessons with no penalty. The new starting date should be no later than 18 months from the cancelled one.
- The student can also switch to individual online courses with no penalty. The number of the hours will be adjusted based on the pricing policy.
ISSUE OF VISAS
- We support students who need a VISA as much as we can by giving them relative advice
- If requested, we may provide students with a letter of acceptance (provided that they have paid the total of fees before we send it)
- This letter of acceptance can only be issued for our 3-months morning course
- If students are refused the issue of VISA and wish to have a refund of the fees they should send us the respective refusal letter of the Greek Consulate. In such case they will be entitled for a 90% refund.
- They will be also charged with the applicable bank transfer cost.
