Yesterday the presentation has been done by our director Mr. K. Karkanias in the Library. A main part of the presentation was based at the first three verses of Odyssey which, although it refers to the Trojan War (13th century A.D. ) and is the older greek poem contains words that were easily recognized from our beginner students. The verses are (ancient and modern Greek plus an English translation)
Oh! Muse, speak to me about the clever man, who a great lot
suffered after the holy city of Troja has conquered
He had seen the cities of a lot of people and their way of thinking he has understood
