This spring, we experienced one of those rare, heartwarming coincidences that only time and friendship can bring. Joudy and Marie Caroline, two of our long-time French students who have joined our courses several times, happened to return again — and just like in 2023, they found themselves sitting side by side at our director’s welcome presentation.
Same week, same faces, same energy — a true déjà vu. “It feels like we never left,” they said, with the warmth and familiarity of returning friends. This time, they’re part of a lively and diverse international group of students from Australia, the USA, and Denmark — making our τάξη (classroom) even more vibrant.
They are still as όμορφες (beautiful), χαρούμενες (happy), and full of love for the ελληνική γλώσσα (Greek language) as ever.
At Alexander the Great, some things do change — new faces, new lessons, new adventures — but some things remain constant: warm reunions, shared experiences, and the joy of learning Greek together.
Take a look at our 2023 and 2025 snapshots. The joy is unmistakable.
