Out of class activities: Visit to the Byzantine – Christian Museum

Last Thursday (07/10) we went with our students to the Byzantine-Christian Museum. Our professor, Sotiris, made, as always, an amazing briefing on the permanent exhibits. They also visited the exhibition about the naval battle of Lepanto – 1571, during which the Christian forces destroyed the Turkish fleet in the sea area of the Acheloos estuary, which means outside the Messolonghi lagoon.

Sotiris, with some of our students, look very happy in the photo they took the same day.
