Out of class activities: In the museum of typography

The first museum in Greece dedicated to typography operates in Chania since 2005 and is a few kilometers away from the city center.

Last week, our students in Chania visited the museum with their teachers and admired its rare editions, engravings and woodcuts, which link the typography to the local history of Crete.

What’s more, the students were guided to the museum’s library, where many rare books, magazines, as well as valuable Greek and foreign editions about the typography are exhibited.
