Tamar our student from Israel has been the director of an NGO that supported refugees in learning Greek at our School. She visited our director last December and spoke about the most desired Peace in the Middle East.
The discussion started when she saw that on his desk he had the smal sign – that is featured on the photo-, she had given him with the Hebrew usual greeting- wish SHALOM (Peace).
They did not forget that the same greeting is used by Arabs (Salaam).
Let’s hope that the wish will be fulfilled.
