At the School of Greek Language & Culture “Alexander the Great,” life at school is filled with memorable moments, cultural experiences, and strong human connections. This week, students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate a very special occasion: the birthday of Nancy, our loyal Greek teacher and Education Manager.
A Special Celebration in Our Greek Language School
Nancy has been an important part of our school community for many years. Through her Greek lessons, academic support, and positive energy, she has helped students from all over the world feel welcome in Athens and confident while learning Greek.
To thank her for her dedication, we secretly organised a surprise birthday party at the school. The celebration included a birthday cake, decorations, music, and warm wishes from students and colleagues. The atmosphere was full of laughter, Greek conversations, and international spirit.
Life at School Means More Than Greek Lessons
Life at school at Alexander the Great is not limited to the classroom. Students participate in cultural activities, Greek dance lessons, excursions, film nights, local events, and social gatherings throughout the year.
