Life at school: A Christmas celebration in our school

Yesterday, we had a special Christmas celebration in our school: Christmas music, Christmas ornaments workshop and of course a great variety of savory, sweet treats and traditional Greek white wine “Moschophilero” were here.

Some of our special traditional Greek Christmas treats:

Melomakarono – Μελομακάρονο (an egg-shaped cookie made mainly from flour, olive oil, walnuts, honey and of course a lot of Christmas must spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves).

Kourampies – Κουραμπίες (an almond based snowball cookie with a flavorful smell of rosewater, coated in icing sugar)

Of course we dance, discuss and exchange Christmas wishes each other…our smiles were again the main ingredient for a great celebration.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Καλά Χριστούγεννα σε όλους!
