At the School of Greek Language & Culture “Alexander the Great”, people are at the center of everything we do. Therefore, today we proudly celebrate an important milestone: Irini at Alexander Greek School has completed 7 years as part of our educational family.
During these years, Irini has become one of the most important people in the daily life of our school network. She supports students, teachers, agencies, and partners while helping our schools in Athens, Chania, and Thessaloniki operate smoothly every day.
A Central Role in Our School Network
Irini coordinates communication and lesson organization across the entire school network. In addition, she maintains daily contact with international agencies, educational partners, and students from all over the world.
Her responsibilities include:
- Organizing lesson schedules
- Communicating with international students
- Supporting school administration
- Coordinating with agencies and partners
- Assisting students before and during their stay in Greece
- Helping with cultural activities and events
As a result, she plays an essential role in connecting all departments of the school.
Welcoming Students to Athens
For many students, Irini is one of the first people they meet when arriving at our Athens school. She welcomes new students, answers practical questions, and helps them feel comfortable from the very first day.
However, her contribution goes beyond administration. Sometimes she prepares a coffee for a student who has just arrived in Greece. Other times, she recommends an art exhibition, a cultural event, or a hidden corner of Athens worth discovering.
These small gestures help create the warm atmosphere that our students remember long after their courses end.

Supporting International Communication
Working in an international Greek language school requires excellent communication skills and flexibility. Over the last seven years, Irini has helped hundreds of students from Europe, America, Asia, and Australia enjoy a smooth learning experience in Greece.
Furthermore, she supports communication between the different branches of the school network. Her work helps maintain strong cooperation between Athens, Chania, and Thessaloniki.

More Than a Secretary
Although Irini works in administration and student support, her role is much more personal. She helps students adapt to life in Greece and contributes to the friendly environment that defines our school.
In many ways, she represents the spirit of Greek hospitality that we want every student to experience during their stay.
Moreover, her professionalism, kindness, and positive attitude have made her a trusted colleague and an important part of the school community.
Thank You for 7 Wonderful Years
We would like to sincerely thank Irini for seven years of dedication, teamwork, and continuous support.
At the School of Greek Language & Culture “Alexander the Great”, we are proud to work with people who combine professionalism with genuine care for students and colleagues alike.
Congratulations, Irini, on your 7-year anniversary. We look forward to many more successful years together.
