Hymettus is one of the three mountains that surround the Attica basin. It borders to the north with Agia Paraskevi and to the south with Voula and Vari, while it is very close to Cholargos, Zografou, Kaisariani and Byron.

It is a beautiful natural landscape suitable for hiking in nature with rich flora and fauna. You will find beautiful species of birds and many turtles.

Our exceptional B2 level students, Niovi and Kostas, met with their teacher, Nancy, in Hymettus, in order to enjoy a walk on this beautiful mountain combining it with their lesson in nature. After the hike in nature, they rested at the Kalopoula stone refreshment station, which has been operating since 1987 and volunteers and residents of the municipality have undertaken to ensure the survival and maintenance of both the refreshment station and the wider area. They had their greek books and had an amazing lesson with the sounds of nature in the background.
