Costas Karkanias is very active among others in areas related to the protection of the environment and to the expansion of Green Spots in the city.
This is why he has been participating in activities for the protection and improvement of the nearby Park, Pedion tou Areos( Camp of Mars). Since several years he has been a member of the Management Committee of the relative Association and during the recent respective elections he has been elected as its President.
The Park is like our yard and students always enjoy walking or doing their homework in it.
