Like every year, June is a month full of interesting events, as Athens’ summer festivals turn the city into a vast open air museum!

Athens Open Air Film Festival is back for 9th year in a row. From June until August, movie projections take place in unique corners of the city, that are turned into open air cinemas. The entrance is free of charge.

On June 19 and June 20, Giorgos Dalaras gives a concert in Herodion under the conduction of Hakan Sensou. The concert is organized by the Greek Festival.

On June 21, many events will take place in various areas of Athens, in order to celebrate the European Music Day.

Athenians’ favourite, Summer Nostos Festival which takes place every year, is back this June and it includes a variety of musical, visual and theatrical performances, as well as events for kids.
