The Byzantine museum is one of the most important and historical museums in Greece. Today it houses more than 25,000 exhibits with rare collections of pictures, scriptures, frescoes and pottery from the 3rd century AD to the Late Middle Ages.
The museum also boasts a gorgeous garden, which covers a wide area and impresses visitors with the great variety and bright colors of its flowers.
A few days ago, the students of our school in Athens had the chance to visit the Byzantine museum and wander around its internal and external spaces.
