On Friday we cut the New Year’s pie at our school in Thessaloniki! We also ate a traditional cheese pie and leek pie! With our students from Russia, Austria and Germany we discussed about our different traditions! The strangest custom was the Russian one – they write a wish on a paper, they burn it and they throw it in a glass of champagne which they drink in midnight for luck!
