Our school is now ideally located on Iroon Polytechniou Street, in one of the most lively and authentic parts of Chania. The area combines everyday local life with easy access to the historic centre, the sea, and many of the city’s cultural highlights.
The school is situated just a short walk from the famous Municipal Market of Chania and only 200 meters from the historic Court House Square (Dikastiria), one of the city’s main meeting points. Cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, and local shops are all nearby, making daily life easy and comfortable for students.
Unlike the narrow alleys of the Old Town, this neighbourhood feels open, vibrant, and modern, while still preserving the warm atmosphere of Chania. The Venetian Harbour and Old Town can be reached within a pleasant walk, allowing students to combine their Greek lessons with daily cultural discoveries.
Public transport is also very convenient, with bus connections nearby offering easy access to beaches, villages, and excursions around Chania and western Crete.
Students also enjoy exploring nearby areas such as:
The famous Municipal Market area is full of local life, small shops, cafés, bakeries, and traditional products. Nearby streets offer an authentic daily experience of Chania beyond the tourist areas.
A short walk from the school leads students to the Venetian Harbour, lighthouse, historic alleys, museums, and traditional tavernas. The atmosphere changes beautifully throughout the day, from quiet mornings to lively evenings.
Very close to the school, Koum Kapi is one of the favourite meeting places for locals and students alike. The seaside promenade is ideal for coffee, dinner, or relaxing walks by the water.
Students can easily reach Nea Chora beach for a swim after class or enjoy fresh seafood in the traditional fish tavernas along the waterfront.

Life in Chania combines the comfort of a small city with the richness of Cretan culture and Mediterranean lifestyle. Students quickly become part of the daily rhythm of the city — enjoying coffee outdoors, walking by the sea, discovering local markets, and practicing Greek in real-life situations.
The area around the school offers countless options for breakfast, lunch, and evening outings, from traditional Cretan tavernas to modern cafés and international cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan, and international food options are widely available.
Thanks to Chania’s mild climate, outdoor life is possible during most of the year. Many students enjoy morning walks by the sea, afternoon swims, or sunset evenings at the harbour after lessons.
Most importantly, our new location places students at the heart of authentic Chania life, where learning Greek naturally becomes part of everyday experience.
