Important Update – Chania Program

We would like to inform you that our cooperation with our current partner school in Chania will end on 28 February 2026.

Registrations that have already been confirmed for January and February 2026 will take place as planned. However, as of today, 29/12/2025, we are not accepting new registrations for these weeks.

We are currently preparing a new collaboration in Chania and will be happy to share all details very soon.
Our new program will officially begin from 1 March 2026.

Thank you for your understanding and continued trust.

The Neighborhood

The school is ideally located in Nea Chora, just 100 meters from the sea and a bustling promenade known for some of the best fish tavernas in Chania. The city center is a 15-minute walk, and a bus stop just 20 meters away offers connections every 15 minutes.

Other Neighborhoods

Students also enjoy visiting nearby areas such as:

  • City Centre

  • Chrysi Akti (beach)

  • Agioi Apostoloi (beach)

Places to Visit

  • Weekly Street Market: Every Thursday on Patriarchou Gerasimou Street in Nea Chora. Early birds enjoy the vibrant colors and fresh produce; midday visitors often find better prices.

  • Nea Chora Beach: Ideal for a quick swim or a seaside meal.

  • Old Harbour & Lighthouse: A short walk from the school, offering historic views and local museums like the Maritime Museum and Minoans World 9D.

  • Cultural Sites: Catholic Church, Cretan House, Archaeological Museum, Museum of Typography, Venizelos Graves

  • Nature & Excursions: Terra Creta (olive oil factory), Falasarna, Elafonisi, Balos, Samaria Gorge, Theriso village

Life in the City

Leisure activities are never far from reach. A five-minute walk leads to the beach for a morning swim. Cretan cuisine is widely available in restaurants and tavernas near the school, with options for vegetarians, vegans, and lovers of Asian, Italian, and Mexican food. The Old Town and harbor provide an atmospheric setting for evening strolls and late-night cafés.
