Did you know that the word “Christ” has Greek origins? The word “Christ” comes from the Greek ancient verb “χρίω”, which means anoint.

At first, the word “Christ” referred to anything that was anointed with oil and it was used as a translation of the Jewish word “masiha” (Christ, anointed with Holy oil).
